It consists of an articulated frame capable of translating laterally with respect to the direction of travel through the use of hydraulic pistons. The machine is made up of a number of elements equal to the number of rows to weed. Each element is equipped with an infrared optical bar capable of identifying, during progress, the presence or absence of plants under cultivation. Each element is also equipped with a pair of arms (hydraulically operated) at the ends of which interacting blades are installed that operate at adjustable depth and are able to eliminate weeds up to one cm away from the cultivated plant.
All the weeding units are made independent of each other thanks to a motherboard that allows precise detections and particularly rapid activation of the blades. The machine / operator interaction is managed by an easy-to-understand Touch Screen panel, through which it is possible to set the processing parameters and monitor the processing itself.
