Lettuce is one of those vegetables that adapts to any condition and season. The most renowned ones are lettuce, curly endive, romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, escarole and rocket. Moreover, this vegetable is not particularly fragile, as it can withstand and grow even at relatively low temperatures (under 10°C [50° F]).
